In Aug of 2005, the Assyrian American Christian School was established in Tarzana, California. We are proud that this is the first Assyrian school in the United States.
It is the distinct purpose of AACS to provide a college prep program of Christian Education which, while upholding a standard of scholastic excellence, has its integrating center in God and fosters vital Christian living. Through a Christian education these young people will find rich fellowship and deep devotion to the Lord, who alone is capable of directing their lives.
The training of children is regarded as the joint responsibility of the home, the church, and the school, and a definite effort is made to have all three units in a fully integrated program so that positive Christian personalities may be developed. It is our policy to work closely with parents in every way we can to promote the academic as well as spiritual success of each student.
The world today is full of opportunity for those who are willing to prepare themselves spiritually, physically and academically. The administration and faculty of Assyrian American Christian School continually evaluates and improves the type of school program that will prepare the student to meet this challenge.
